In October 2020 the first six members entered the SiEnE: the companies TROIA d.o.o. and ROBOTINA d.o.o., the Laboratory for Cooling and District Energy (LAHDE) and the Department of Energy Engineering (KES) at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Maribor, and the Slovenian Civil Engineering Institute. The company TROIA d.o.o. has the honour of being the first member to join the partnership.
On-going cooperation has already been established between the majority of new members within partnerships TECES (energy cluster) and SRIP Smart Buildings, which also works under the auspices of TECES.

In October 2020, the first six members entered into the SiEnE partnership. Together with the new partners, we are already exploring new ways to increase their sales opportunities and use their knowledge to develop innovative solutions for defence and civil purposes.

Together with the new members, we are already exploring new ways to take forward their advanced and sustainable defence solutions.

Within the SiEnE partnership, we have already initiated active cooperation with several new partners (ZAG, LAHDE, KES, FERI). A feasibility study on the development of smart and deployable infrastructure capacities, or SmartCamp, is underway. This will combine the concept of dwelling units which are fast erect with those that are energy-saving and self-sufficient, for both defence and civil purposes, as in the event of a civil protection and disaster relief.

We are looking forward to further joint projects in the development of projects for the wellbeing of society, today and tomorrow.
